Story
Sujata is a call center worker in India who dreams of a better life in America. She catches the eye of her cunning and opportunistic manager, who sees her as the perfect accomplice in his plan to embezzle money from a US bank. He lures her into his scheme by promising her a share of the loot and a chance to fulfill her American dream. Meanwhile, a disillusioned music executive in Los Angeles becomes enamored with Sujata's voice when he calls the bank to check his account balance. As they strike up a friendship over the phone, he becomes determined to meet her in person and sets off to India. There, he is stunned by the contrast between the country's poverty and beauty, and he is immediately drawn to Sujata. Together, they explore the city and fall deeply in love. However, their happiness is threatened by numerous obstacles, including the executive's vengeful wife, Sujata's jealous boss who hires an assassin to eliminate the executive, and the bank's investigator who is hot on their trail. Will Sujata and her lover be able to overcome these challenges and escape to a new life together? Or will they pay a high price for their love and their crimes?
