Story
Meena is an attractive young woman who lives with her middle-class parents in India. Her father works as a peon with an organization run by a wealthy tycoon. Meena meets a fellow collegian and they fall deeply in love. However, they face problems when they find out that another young man also loves Meena and will not let anyone get in their way. This second man is the son of the tycoon that employs Meena’s father and he’s been spoiled by his father's wealth and power. He tries to woo Meena with his money and gifts, but she rejects him. He then resorts to threats and violence. Meanwhile, Meena's parents receive a marriage proposal from the rich man for his son. Meena’s father is delighted with this offer and hopes that he will get a promotion for being the father-in-law of his boss. He forces Meena to agree to marry the son, despite her protests. Meena tries to convince his true love to elope with her, but he refuses to go against her parents' wishes. He also asks the rich son to leave Meena alone, but things turn violent. The two men clash over Meena, while she struggles to choose between them. A story that contrasts the rich and the poor, and showcases the injustice and corruption in society.
